I already had the CD only version of this album and wanted to add the DVD features included in the expanded edition. My favorite Mayer album since Continuum. The collection of songs is a little more produced than some of the earlier stuff, but the guitar work is excellent. IMHO John Mayer is a very underrated guitarist by most folks because they only know "Your Body is a Wonderland". Pick up this album, Continuum and the live from L.A. Where the Light Is and you'll see where I'm coming from.
I got this special edition specifically for the Storytellers DVD that came with it.
Some of the videos on it you won't even find on YouTube.
But as for the CD itself, JM continues with his ability to write lyrics that people can personally relate to. This CD and the songs on it helped me get through some pretty tough times. Funny that a guy who grew up in Fairfield, where I lived for several years only a couple of neighborhoods away from his, can make millions of fans around the world relate to his lyrics. Thanks John from a fellow CT fellow.
