HUGE map that covers a large area...difficult to use.
This is a huge map that covers large parts of Austria, Switzerland & Slovenia on a scale of 12.6 miles to 1 inch. Unfolded, it measures 34" by 29" - far too big to use with any ease in a car, with a total of 24 folds. An added difficulty is that it is printed on both sides and on quite flimsy paper so its useful working life will be brief. Printed by the AA but an unfriendly map for motorists on the move. It contains clearly marked main roads & motorways, with distances and main towns, but much smaller print for smaller ones. There are quite useful 1" to 400m city maps of Basel, Zurich, Bern, Geneva, Vienna and Ljubljana, as well as quite an extensive index of important place names and a large Legend section that interprets the symbols. Would have been better to have produced this in ring-binder form that would be easier to use in the confines of a moving car.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
