Follow up to 1963 is as good a read as the first book. Read in one day couldn’t put it down.

Excellent book pulls no punches. Read A slice of bread and jam first and then Boy 26. Can’t put the book down. Harrowing account of what life was like for Tommy growing up in Manchester in the shadow of Hindley/ Brady. Great account of recent social history.

I was glued to this book from the first page at times very funny you find yourself shaking your head wondering what he’s going to get up to next there is parts where there’s sexual abuse but he doesn’t go into graphic detail which I’m glad about as I can’t read those parts in books and normally skip them It’s a very good read and I would recommend to others
