The Duke of Scotland (Michael Fassbender) receives a prophecy from three witches that he will one day become King of Scotland. Consumed with ambition and encouraged to act by his wife (Marion Cotillard), Macbeth plots to murder the king and take the throne for himself. Also stars Elizzabeth Debicki, Sean Harris, David Thewlis and Paddy Considine.

    Very dark and moody production which captures brilliantly the supernatural feel of the play with excellent acting and soundtrack.
