I hadn't read the book but had heard loads about the film. I just loved it. It is heartfelt and poignant but also makes you feel warm all at the same time. We already know how animals can lift and help the sick and elderly, maybe we should think about using them to help those whose lives have hit a bad patch or are on a downward spiral.
