Commanding presence
Once I had it tuned, I played a chord sequence. My husband observed, "Wow! It sounds like a choir!" It has a sweetness, resonance, and a generally commanding presence. It's beautiful to eyes and ears alike. I have a lot of ukuleles, and this 8 string baritone is one that I would try to take with me if we had to evacuate due to a natural disaster.

Still bright
The use of two strings an octave apart for the D and G strings provides a rich "complete" sound while still sounding closer to that of a uke than a guitar. Great for adding depth to a uke jam, without the overpowering sound that a guitar would have. Love the quality build.
