Test every TV Menu setting and takes notes for reference.
I ordered 4 cables. You may need to adjust the HDMI input setting to enable 4K quality. It was also suggested to switch off the Motion action in the menu set-ups. The new 4K TV may be set to ECO for Economy mode, which lowers the brightness; therefore, that setting must be switched off. There are preset settings for users to choose from: Cinema, Vivid, Sports, Standard or Custom User settings. So, we can adjust the settings for brightness and contrast and test the colour and colour saturation. We can set a cold display screen set-up or switch to a warm colour. We can adjust gamma and brightness settings. It helps to write down the existing settings for reference before testing. Write down changed settings, too. We discover essential set-up advice on YouTube and check for our 4K TVs' make and model number. The Sky+ HD Channel Guide showed no blurring text effect using this cable.
