At least as good as you would want.
A well made and reasonably heavy duty machine, perfect for a large private garden. Easy to assemble and start. So far it has done everything I've asked of it without complaint. It does need a sensible approach to wet heavily green leaved mulching, but it never sounds under pressure. Mulched material is evenly chopped and consistent.

I have now used the chipper twice and I ...
I have now used the chipper twice and I am pleased with its performance. Chips are much smaller than I expected. It coped admirable with the small branches and leaves. I had alder hedge trimmings to chop up. I had to leave out washers when bolting the engine to the chassis. I could not get the nut on the bolt with two washers and a cir clip. I had to replace the split pins as the ones supplied were not long enough.
