Actually purchased as a beach shelter after a lot of research. I especially liked the width and being able to tie back the front flaps but can also zip them to get changed with privacy. Head height whilst sitting in the porch area in large folding chairs gives perfect viewing space and not cramped. I also liked the fact there is the option of having the back window removed completely or use the mosquito net, perfect for a through breeze and to reduce heat in the bivvy. Plenty of room for all other beach gear and large cool box. No instructions but not a problem once two of us worked out which poles went where with ease, a little stiff to open elasticated poles but feel these will get easier to join and unjoin after a couple of uses, our first bivvy trial in the garden to erect took 10 mins. but we will certainly be able to complete in 6 mins next time, a lovely big carry bag so no worries about squeezing the bivvy back in the bag! Lovely heavy duty pegs and will be able to weigh down with carrier bags fulls of sand and stones on bivvy flap surrounds to keep anchored. Unfortunately a screw on the wonderful “peak” was missing but Millets promptly replaced this. All in all, an excellent purchase and bargain at about £171 with free prompt delivery. Also sourced a folding beach cart with chunky wheels on EBay. Perfect.
