Joe's next chapter in punk
Joe Jackson is an extremely versatile musician. "I'm the Man" followed closely after his successful release of " Look Sharp" and raised the tempo even more. However, if you did not relish in the days of punk, do not despair as Joe has included meaningful melodies like "It's different for Girls" and the grooving "Kinda Kute" which slow the pace in time for the next burst of energy and rhythm of the glorious post-disco days. Joe went on to record some of the finest Jazz / Soul music of our time and today still releases some fantastic live recordings of the same. The man is a perfectionist in everything he has produced and "I'm the Man" is one of his earlier 70's classics.
