Smaller and lighter, they do an adequate job with a few caveats.
These 3.8AH batteries seem to work just fine in my new brushless quiet series Ryobi Blower. They do not put out the same amount of power as my OEM 4.0AH, which is apparent when I use them. They also have an issue with charging on my charger, the charging lights go whacky when these batteries are charging, but after pulling the battery out and reseating them, they seem to charge fully. All in all, yes, they work just fine. I like having them handy on the bigger jobs around the lawn when the 4.0AH runs out of charge, 2 of these definately get me through the bigger jobs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

WILL NOT WORK WITH ANY OF MY RYOBI One Plus LiON TOOLS!!
It thought this would be a good deal .... IT IS NOT! I have some older "Dark Green" Ryobi tools (NiCD batteries) and some nice new "One+" Line/Yellow LiON Drills, Leaf Blower, Weed Wacker, Sander. This Chinese Clone DOES NOT WORK IN ANY of the new Ryobi LiON model tools, plug the battery in and NOTHING! I tried in every tools w ith the same result! However, it will work in my old NiCD powered Dark Green Ryobi drill and circular saw. NOT what I intended using it for though!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Heavy-Duty - Excellent Run-Time Length, Exceptional Power - Very Durable!
Runtime is exceptionally long, when powering my Ryobi saber Saw, 1/2" drill/hammer drill, and 18ga finish nailer. Definately worth the money! The power is much stronger than what my Ryobi P-107 batteries produce. Also, out of the four Ryobi P107 batteries I purchased, only one lasted for more than a year. These batteries are warranted for 5-years. My experience of over 40-years in the professional building business has taught me that a warrantee is generally an indication of how long an item will last; 5-years is typical for high-quality batteries, under normal usage.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Better than the original.
I got this for a Ryobi hand held vacuum. So far it works fine. I have not use it long enough to really gauge the quality. I bought other for Ryobi batteries before and they work fine. I'm sure this will be just another great product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Did not perform as expected, limited run time
Despite solid construction and a perfect fit in the tools, sadly the 9.0Ah battery did not perform as expected. I ran a no-load test in my Ryobi blower by putting a rubber band on the trigger and letting it run, comparing this battery to two different genuine Ryobi 4.0Ah batteries that I already own. The results were disappointing; I only got 15 min of run time with the 9.0Ah vs. 14 min of run time for both of the Ryobi 4.0Ah. There is also the weight factor of this battery - it's significantly heavier than the Ryobi 4.0Ah. On the blower, that made it feel much heavier since you had to force the nose to the ground more. It will make any tool feel much heavier. Overall, not a good value and cannot recommend. I returned it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not even close
It worked at first. But now it turns off in the middle of using the battery. The battery is supposed to be 3.8 Ah but it is lighter than my oem 1.5 Ah battery. It also doesn't last as long. I used it for six minutes in my hand vacuum and the battery stopped. I used the oem 1.5 Ah battery for 12min. Also the motor sounds different. It spins faster on the oem battery. Also the description says it's p108 battery pack. But on my battery it says p107.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is the second one i bought. I used it to drill 4 3/8" holes in steel, then used a 4 inch grinder and last i cut with a bayonet saw. The battery still has half capacity.
