    DVD Silver streak

    I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son who wanted the movie. its a very hard one to find at stores so I was glad someone sold it on eBay. I'm not sure if it works because I haven't played it but I'm sure it does.

    Just pure entertainment

    Great actors, entertaining story, and wow-factor ending. What's not to love? Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor make a great team, and Jill Clayburgh is, of course, wonderful. This movie is right up there with "Foul Play" and "Murder By Death", two other great mystery/comedies from the 70's. I saw this movie in the theater when it came out and I loved it, but I was 10 years old at the time, so I wondered if watching it again all these years later I would enjoy it. Well, it didn't disappoint. Just as good this time. The mid 1970's produced some purely enjoyable movies that combined drama with comedy perfectly, and "Silver Streak" is one of them.

    They just do not make movies like this any more. A great theme packed with large doses of drama, suspense, comedy, and fantastic scenery of the USA. If you have not seen this movie you owe it to yourself to do so. Certainly the price is right.

    This is Richard Pryor at his best. There are some great "forever" lines. Gene Wilder makes a great sidekick. Sadly, both of these funny men have left us.

    A Comedy Classic!

    Product arrived EARLY and in perfect condition. It really looks like brand new -- box art, insert and disc surface are perfect. The movie is an oldie but a GOODIE. Comedic geniuses Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor together on screen at the same time! (think Blazing Saddles with Gene Wilder and Cleavon Little playing off each other) This movie was made before the PC Police began meddling in the film industry, so it is FUNNY. CAUTION the film does include a scene with Gene Wilder in Black Face (OK, brown shoe polish face), so don't be offended.
