Carlton released a number of title without any regard for what the heck they look like. With the wrong ratio (1.33:1) cutting the picture edges off, and print scratches, cuts and jumps you wonder how anyone okayed this appaulling release. It's not the only one. Avoid CARLTON as a name brand when buying DVD's you'll find they are almost all really terrible. This film is your tyrpical low end Carry On when they were running on empty, but my kids like them for some reason.
i bought the dvd for my husband who enjoys the carry on films,i do not mind them now and again because they all seem the same,so you must have to be a fan to really enjoy the comedy.

A great giggle - on of the more enjoyable Carry Ons that is basedx at the time when foreign package holidays were in the ascendency. Full of the usual inuendo, the Carry On team deliver a film that can be enjoyed by all the family. The film, like most of the Carry Ons, is a little dated now, but do these films ever age? This is definately among the better ones (yes, there are several) and part of a carefully selected collection of mine. Some of the 'jokes' are old enough to have a bus pass; others are just predictable. I like the Carry Ons because there is no violence and no bad language - almost rare these days. Highly recommended.
