A curates egg, good in parts.
A strange film. The obvious 45 minutes cut from the running time make the plot appear disjointed at times. However performances from Lee Evans and Freddie Davies make up for this. You'll all watch it more than once!
This hilarious (at times) movie takes me back to the 50s and 60s when I was a boy. Pay close attention when watching as there are clues along the way! The casting is very well done. Although it's set in the 2000's there are many flashbacks to life in England (and Blackpool) when it was unAmericanised in the years following WW2. It's great watching the plot unfold and ending in an entertaining way. Anyway the pinger on my oven has just informed me that my chicken is cooked! So bye bye from me and enjoy the movie.
