I am a fan of Joanne Whalley (since the Singing Detective) so got hold of this not realising I had already seen it once on the telly - not to worry cos I got really hooked into it the minute I put it on.This is a Thriller with a lot of twists and turns Bill Pullman pulls a very strong performance out of the hat in stark contrast to some of his other 'goody goody' roles whilst my fave Joanne Whalley gives a very convincing performance too in a support role.I found Gabrielle Anwar's character (Sophie) slightly unbelievable that's not to say Gabrielle didn't give it her all.The little guy who plays the killer (sorry can't remember his name) was great -was he over the top?- no I don't think so the scenes he was in were always extra gripping, I don't want to give too much of the plot away to anyone who has not seen it.You know a film is good when you don't want to pause it for a cup of tea/glass of wine or even the loo !This is one of those films.Despite the subject matter Rape, this is a film that can satisfy both sexes because of the many twists and turns including the 'double ending' blink and you will miss it turn the volume up and pay close attention at the end or you will miss it - thanks Joanne how to be a bitch without realising it - typical woman - tidying up and throwing away the winning lottery ticket in the process. A must watch Movie ! 5/5Read full review
