During off season it's great to be able to stick a DVD on and watch some motorcycle racing, especially if you've missed a few races from the championship. But, although it's good to see the riders race again, the coverage is rather poor. I have a few of the MotoGP DVD's and regard the production as half hearted. No proper introduction to teams, bikes, riders and the coverage is so compressed you don't get a chance to see all the action. There are no excuses. Just check out some of the World Superbike DVD's-especially the 2001 season (Bayliss and Edwards) Brilliant racing and excellent coverage. Commentary is from the races to, unlike the MotoGP commentary which seems like are just re-watching it and talking you through the action. Never liked the Eurosport boys anyway. I find Toby Moody and the other one nerdy and irritating (just my opinion-don't attack me!). They just make me cringe. Bring back the duo of Barry Nutley and Steve Parish. It's nice to revert back to for some excellent racing moments, but buy it second hand. It's not worth the 15 odd quid shops are asking you to fork out. This review is for the seasons covered up to 2004. I haven't seen the later ones. May of pulled their socks up!Read full review
i like this dvd because it has highlights of all the moto gp races in the 2004 season. i decided to buy this because i like moto gp and i hadn't seen any of the 2004 season.
Like all official Moto GP reviews, full of all the action from the whole season. Made even more exciting because Valentino is usually somewhere in the picture.
an entertaining review of the 2004 season, liked the commentary and generally an interesting way to catch up on a season that i had missed will watch it again too
