I also own Joanna's other 2 DVDs so I was particularly keen to get my hands on this one. It contains 3 30 minutes exercise routines, all designed to improve your fitness and help you to burn fat. The first is cardio, the second is toning & cardio and the third is a type of yoga/pilates (which i have to confess I have yet to try) I personally really like working out to Joanna Halls DVDs, I think she is friendly and easy to follow. I have also seen a big improvement since starting to work out, in 2 months I have lost over a stone, dropped a dress size and been able to go from doing 20 minutes moderate aerobics to doing the whole 30 minute session at high impact level. Joanna works out with 2 lovely ladies, one is a regular - Mairi - and she demonstrates the gentle option - the other lady Teresa demonstrates the high impact moves. The music is ok too, and the moves are all well explained. I think this is a good DVD to follow as you work on improving your fitness and health.Read full review
This is not a bad fitness dvd. On the plus side you can do it in 10min or 20min sections if you haven't time to do the full routine. It is quite easy to follow (although the cue-ing could be better). On the negative side the yoga section does expect a level of flexibility that many beginners probably won't achieve and there are not a lot of options offered to the less flexible among us!! Technique and safety points are barely touched upon. Inoffensive presenter, music unremarkable but at least not annoying. 6/10
