This instant classic, was a major hit when it came out and. Is still much loved , by many fans all over the world . David finches jemmy, FIGHT CLUB. Tells the story of an insomniac business man Jack (Edward Norton), who wants to change his life and be free in himself. Then he meets a wild fearless soapman, on a plane. Named Tyler Durden , he takes him after Jack finds out his apartment gets destroyed due to a gas leak as he's told. The two od them form an underground for men FIGHT CLUB , where they take there aggression out on one another. It becomes a huge success, but that's just the beginning of their goal. As the stakes go up higher , and pushing them to the limits of changing society and trying to keep on top of his love interest Marla , who Jack met on his support groups. With a killer twist at the end, still gets me everytime I watch is mind-blowing. Of the connection between Tyler and Jack , this two disc dvd is excellent . Is as good as bluray, it looks and sounds fantastic in either format. This is by far David Finchers best movie he did, I'd watch it few times a year and. Never gets dull anytime I view it, is an absolute joy . Is a must have for any dvd or bluray connection. I'd love this to come out on 4k , hopefully it will in the future. Read full review

All films require a certain suspension of disbelief, Fight Club perhaps more than others; but if you're willing to let yourself get caught up in the anarchy, this film, based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk, is a modern-day morality play warning of the decay of society. Edward Norton is the unnamed protagonist, a man going through life on cruise control, feeling nothing. To fill his hours, he begins attending support groups and 12-step meetings. True, he isn't actually afflicted with the problems, but he finds solace in the groups. This is destroyed, however, when he meets Marla (Helena Bonham Carter), also faking her way through groups. Spiralling back into insomnia, Norton finds his life is changed once again, by a chance encounter with Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), whose forthright style and no-nonsense way of taking what he wants appeal to our narrator. Tyler and the protagonist find a new way to feel release: they fight. They fight each other, and then as others are attracted to their ways, they fight the men who come to join their newly formed Fight Club. Marla begins a destructive affair with Tyler, and things fly out of control, as Fight Club is transformed into a nationwide fascist group. The depiction of violence in Fight Club is unflinching, but director David Fincher's film is captivating and beautifully shot, with camerawork and effects that are almost as startling as the script. The movie is packed with provocative ideas and images--from the satirical look at the emptiness of modern consumerism to quasi-Nietzschean concepts of "beyond good and evil"--that will leave the viewer with much food for thought to take away. Pitt and Norton are an unbeatable duo, and the film has a great sense of humour too. Even if it leaves you with a sense of profound discomfort this is a movie that you'll have to see again and again, if for no other reason than to just to take it all in. This edition contains two discs, one containing the film itself with audio commentary, with the other containing various extras like music video, behind the scenes, advertising etc.Read full review
I watched fight club for the first time about 3 months ago after a friend recommended it, I found that it had become one of my favourite ever films. Buying the special edition at such a brilliant price was a true delight. Im now obsessed!
For any movie lover, this is an essential watch. From start to finish, this is one hell of a ride, the dialogue and direction are some of the best i've seen in modern cinema. Edward Norton at his best, delivering what i would consider to be an oscar winning performance. Brad Pitt is equally brilliant as Norton's on screen alter ego. It is one of those cult movies that was not a box office success but found its home on DVD, and is even better now in stunning high definition. This movie is perfect for Blu Ray with its unexpected special effect scenes and the fighting is all the more intense. The ending is one of the best twists in movie history a true jaw dropper. However this movie can be like marmite, either you love it and think its a masterpiece (like me), or you can't get past the brutal fight & sex scenes that puts people off (as it is an 18 for good reason). I first watched this when I was 11, it didn't put me off one bit and I still love it today, a true classic. If you are interested in getting this movie, just get it, just for the thrilling experience and a movie you can watch again and again, i'm still finding hidden messages now. The first rule of fight club is, you must watch fight club! 9.5/10Read full review
