Christopher Guest sends up folk music in a fabulous mockumentary
If you like Spinal Tap, Best in Show and Waiting for Guffman, then this is guaranteed to appeal. Christopher Guest and his crew from Saturday Night Live (Eugene Levy, Cathryn O’Hara and others), once again master the mockumentary format and deliver a sharply funny sendup of the world of folk music. I can watch his films several times over and never tire of them. Worth watching it with the director’s commentary for some behind the scenes extra detail.
