Memorable - good extra features too
A brilliant Doctor Who classic of the 1960s from start to finish; made all the more remarkable due to some improvisation in several points of the story. Ten out of ten.

One of the best series of the black and white Doctor Who years
I really enjoyed this series. It's short, sharp and engaging and gets away from the usual trapped-in-a-base-by-aliens plot of the Patrick Troughton era. I guess the BBC had a bit more money to spend on the sets and locations, this helps as well, and there are more than the usual number of characters as well. A clever plot twist covers for a week when Frazer Hines was ill. Any Doctor Who enthusiast will enjoy this.
