I brought this for my husband for Christmas, as he is a big fan. The whole collection is a must for any Ultimate Force fans. It starts from the beginning and shows how they all progress. The quality of the dvd's is first class. The dvd's were new and sealed and I have complete confidence that they are not copies. I strongly recommend anybody who enjoys a bit of strong drama to buy this collection - you WILL become fans of Ultimate Force.
I decided to buy this DVD collection as i thorougly enjoyed the TV series. There are'nt many programmes i enjoy watching 2 or 3 times but this compilation is an exception. I feel that it portrayed our armed force special units in a good light and gives you an insight into the many dangerous and difficult situations that they and we as a country endure by helping those less fortunate than us. When watching this you feel as though it is real life. You then see the "off duty" side of the soldiers, in the programme and realise they are only doing a job like the rest of us, although it is more exciting!! I bought it on a buy now offer as it included free p&p which worked out a better deal than bidding and cost a quarter of shop prices. Another good selling point was that it is a box collection which was new and sealed. All 3 of the discs contain extra features such as behind the scenes documentary, interviews with Ross Kemp and the main cast, and all 3 series production booklets. It is a well written drama and i would reccomend everyone should watch it at least once.Read full review
Sadly like most T.V series ultimate force tends to lose its way in finding just enough stories to keep itself going. A shame that the viewer couldn't see more S.A.S training, how they actually arrived at their location rather than this boy's own stuff where 1 good guy can shoot 20 bad guys, but 20 bad guys can't shoot 1 good guy, there also never seemed a great deal of thought put into Ultimate force from stopping it becoming totally far-fetched, although I would have liked to have seen this series continue, sadly like I said, there is only enough story before it becomes silly.
