  • Ambient allegorical nature DVD with an AIDS theme

Very much a dream like allegorical film of videography of Derek's Prospect cottage, in the shadows of Dungeness Nuclear Power station, and the surrounding areas, featuring Tilda Swinton. A lament to a generation of men killed off by the AIDS virus which claimed the life of Derek not that long after the film had been made. Beautiful poignant landscape/seascape/nature photography. Little narrative or regular dialogue, and it is up to the viewer to find meaning in their own viewing. A bit of a gem!
