This book is a classic text on value investing written by Benjamin Graham. It covers the basics of investing in stocks and bonds, with a focus on finding undervalued assets. The book is aimed at both individual investors and professional money managers, and it includes practical advice on how to analyze financial statements and make investment decisions. The fourth edition of the book has 318 pages and is published by HarperCollins. It is written in English and is suitable for students studying business and economics.
Bible of value investing. Excellent, informative but easy to get lost and abandon. Not a good book for beginners. they should publish a "Dummies Edition" If you understand everything in this book you probably do not need to begin with. However who am I to critical it is one of Buffett's favorites.
If one does not have a strong grasp of the English Language, an above average fundamental understanding of investing in everything and unlimited time...you may want to just hire someone to manage your assets rather than trying to read this book. I gleaned some nuggets from it but only to solidify my existing basic understanding of markets.
I found it helpful but more challenging than Roger William's, The Bloudy Tenent.
I think for me it will be a great reference book.
