Stylish without compromising
I loved it the Allman influence is there but they play with a rock/blues swagger which is nothing like the Allman who I also love but as we all know the allmans tend to overplay which gov't mule do not. This a great album and has that lovely southern sound that I so love Warren Haynes voice is strong but very soulful not unlike Ronnie van Zant and his guitar playing is brilliant throughout the whole album. The band themselves are also all brilliant musicians the bass playing is sharp and imaginative and holds a brilliant groove feel to there sound which is complemented buy a very stylish and strong beat ..I would recommend this album to anyone who loves southern rock or just loves good old fashioned rock music
