Ive tried several less expensive clubs including some very modern taylor made knock offs (integra), and I like the feel of these KCII's better. They are quite dated by todays standards, but ironicly they did much to set those very standards. The KCII's give me just what I want from a set of irons, great accuracy with aproach shots and lots of confidence, easy to hit. I have the steel shafts and they dont feel good with mishits, however with a good hit they are smooth as butter. On the bright side I guess you could call that good feedback. Highly reccomended for mid to high handicappers/ weekend golfers who want quality clubs for a reasonable price. Very well made clubs ahead of their time. Ill be using mine for a long time. I still cant hit the long irons, but Im sure that problem is mine, not the clubs. Combined with a couple hybrids/ fairway woods they are fabulous, quality clubs.Read full review
The King Cobra Oversize Series, both original and II, have got to be one of the best aftermarket clubs available for the price. A great set for beginner-casual golfers-All the important properties in a club at that game play level-Oversize, cavity-back, reputable manufacturer, long positive lineage w/ the model. Clubs hit solid, have a good weight, and rest at address squarely. They are similar to an original TaylorMade Burner (LCG/Oversize/Tour).
I decided to buy these Cobra irons because I have used Cobra brand clubs before and knew the quality was high. There are not many companies that offer oversized clubs for women and the cavity backs were a selling feature too. My set was used but in excellent condition. I love these clubs. They play well and I believe they have improved my game.
I used to shoot in the mid 90's, since i started using these irons i have taken an average of 8-10 strokes off my game!! Great set of irons. Took away my slice for the most part and added and extra 20 yards or so to each hit. I honestly have nothing bad to say about these clubs, in fact i might get a set for my old man for xmas.
i had a set of big bertha graphite shaft irons and decided to try these.the oversize heads made for easy hitting and forgiving.the only problem i had,i swing really hard and these are too lite.
Before obtaining these clubs my handicap was 45. Now I'm shooting par and joining the pro circuit. I don't even bother to practice anymore. Don't need to. These Cobra's will deduct 40 strokes from your game. Already shooting par? You will be getting eagles every hole with these clubs. If Tiger had these clubs he would shoot under 40 in the Masters.
I bought the clubs about 4 weeks ago and I'm glad that I purchased them. I love the way these clubs look and feel, they give me more confidence when I'm out playing. Cobra makes it easy to hit the ball well with these clubs. Awesome clubs for an awesome price!
Nice set of clubs. I owned a set of "King Snake" knockoffs which were close to these, but these clubs are the origional. My other set had graphite shafts, making them a little lighter, but these clubs will be fun for a starter set for my high school aged grandson.
I have a friend who uses these clubs and I really enjoyed playing them. They are outdated clubs so I had to do some digging to find a full set in my price range. I am very satisfied with the clubs. They are great!
Clubs in great used condition, feel great, acurate but distance not great unless you take divot every time! Jack 22 handicap
