Great show!
I've been missing this short series for a long time and finally decided to bite the bullet and spend way more than I usually do for DVDs--and for a pre-owned one, at that! I was not disappointed. It's a lovely, low-key show with some twists and turns and two very appealing leads.

Intelligent, warm, witty
A absolute confection of a mystery/romance. Bates and Cusack are wonderful together. This is stimulating entertainment, refreshingly intellectual in content. Unlike TV for dummies, you really have to think for a change!

Just Great, if you like intelligent, quirky and British
I just love this older intelligent, witty British series, but it's not exactly action-packed and certainly not for everyone. Scenery is wonderful... like touring the UK in a yellow VW.
