An excellent story from the Jon Pertwee era that I had not seen up until now. I do like the older series, it is not all rushed through, like today's modern series. The tension builds up slowly over the various episodes, and I like the episode endings. I can only think that the producers of the new series think the public must have the attention span of a fly! Maybe they do. I prefer the days when the emphasis was on good, engaging stories, with a bit of mystery and atmosphere, and a bit of imagination, instead of over the top CGI effects, and where everything is over and done with in 45 minutes! Bring back the old days. I wouldn't watch anything from the latest Doctor Who series. Not everything can involve all this stupid sexual equality PC thing. To me, and many others I suspect, the doctor can only ever be a man. Tom Baker and Jon Pertwee were the best doctors. They had the right personas and quality of acting, as did their companions.Read full review

One of the archetypal early 70s 3rd Doctor and UNIT vs the Master and alien invasion stories. The DVD is wonderfully remastered to give a much improved picture.
