this is the movie for thees who liked the "animates series". the film has it all and most of all it has real cartoon violence. The joker is so cool that I just melted. he is one of many resons to look att this batman movie.
...it's been a while since I first saw this little gem from the folks over at Warner Brothers and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it has held up very well over time. Delving into the personal life of millionaire Bruce Wayne, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is a dark movie which illustrates a point in Waynes life where things 'could' have been a whole lot different. The animation is top notch as is to be expected and the voice acting is on the money as per usual. The movie is quite flashback oriented but this serves the story well and this is a fine film supported by a great animated series. If I had to have a gripe with this movie it would have to be that it seemed to go by so quickly, which is a sign of it being an enjoyable movie, but I can't help but feel that maybe another 6-10 minutes would have helped to increase my enjoyment of an already superb movie. 5/5Read full review
I love classic Batman, and Mask of the Phantasm for me is one of the darkest, most authentic animated Batman movies available.
