The music sounds so much better played on SACD, more dynamic, detailed and fluid. Money for Nothing sounds so impressive, with the vocals from Sting clearly presented behind the band and the detail of the music. Very good value SACD, a really worthwhile step up up from ordinary cd if you have the equipment to play it, such as a compatible bluray player, such as a good quality Sony, Pioneer or Oppo.

I have the album on vinyl but wanted to hear it on surround sound so went for the hybrid sacd option so that I could play it on my CD player as well. Really pleased with this which does everything I wanted. I can’t complain about anything, excellent value for money.

In an ideal world I would have been able to award this SACD 4.5 stars, as it's not quite as 'warm' sounding as the DVD-Audio version. Trouble is the DVDAs sell for silly money and I got this for less than a tenner. Bought as a gift for my audiophile friend who has Brother In Arms on heavy grade, high quality vinyl, which he plays on a £1k+ turntable. I joked that the SACD would save him having to get up to turn over the 4 sides of vinyl, but he says the thru' his expensive 2ch CD player he just cannot tell the SACD and the vinyl apart. High praise, indeed. I have a 'top end' 5.1 system and have both the SACD and DVDA versions of Brothers In Arms and the DVDA has a slightly richer, warmer sound but there really is very little in it. At less than a tenner this disc represents tremendous value and is an essential addition to any Hi-Fi lovers collection.Read full review

I've had this on cd since it came out, but decided to try the SACD. It was already a great album, now it is even better

I love Dire Straits and already have their albums on mp3 but you miss so much of the sound compared with an SACD disk. Very good value when compared with a similar disk of Love over gold which seems to cost 3 times as much.

An amazingly low price paid for a quality SACD. As everyone knows, an absolute classic album made even better in SACD format.

This is the famouse band's CD, absolutely new (with pack), and with the leaflet inside. SACD provides very good quality and the most nice and breathtaking sound.

It's pure classic and it sounds outstanding as SACD. You simply can't stop listening to it! I think it's the best sounding music I currently own. There are so many details appearing on the SACD so if you have a high end system you can totally enjoy every tone of every musical instrument.
