Stargate SG1 Volume 43 is the best in the Season 8 series. Not only does it give us Moebius Parts 1 and 2, but a Behind the Scenes look at the making of the Moebius episodes. The Behind the Scenes look only appears on the Region 2 U.K. version and is very much worth purchasing. The comaraderie among the cast is quite evident in these types of Behind the Scenes documentaries and it is unfortunate that the U.K. versions are the only ones that provide them. The U.S. distributors could learn a thing or two from the Region 2 distributors. This is the kind of stuff true fans want to see. Season 8 SHOULD have been the end of the series. Without Richard Dean Anderson in the lead role, the show lost much of its flavor and the chemistry was never recaptured. The episodes in Volume 43 epitomize SG-1 at its best. True fans of SG-1 see Season 9 and 10 as a totally different show. MGM should have allowed the show to change its name to Stargate Command because it never recaptured the true spirit of the show with its its original 4 stars.Read full review
