Learn straight from the master!
I first bought this back in the 70's when It came with a vinyl record. I had played guitar for years, so with the instructions in Earl's own voice I picked this up pretty fast. I hadn't played in years. I found the book, but the LP was long gone. I had an accident a few months ago that may mean I'll never play again, but if I ever can I know this will be the quickest way to pick up banjo again. Make sure you get the book with the CD. Good but don't lie..
Great book and even greater musician. However , do not insult Earl Scruggs by lying. This is NOT the with CD edition. The book is expensive which is fair enough given who wrote it but DO NOT LIE and say it has a CD. Downloadable does not equal CD so it gets 4 stars not free as minus 1 for your deception.
