  • Randy Rhoads at his best. Not quite the best transcription.

When you can play a solo, and people listening can tell what song it is, based on just that, you know it's well done. And that's Randy Rhoads. He had an intense knowledge of theory, and used it. He wasn't just a riff writer. He was a composer. As far as this book goes: I've only had time to dig into one song, Little Dolls. The transcriber took what he says are three guitar parts and combined them into one. I don't think it's the most accurate transcription, but it's in the ballpark. Questionable accuracy, but awesome content.
