Pictures should be updated. Photo quality is poor. I would prefer this in a digital form. It seems very comprehensive especially if you want to dig into complex issues. For GS models and for basic issues answers can already be found in the web. If you are a DIY person then it is probably good to have in your library.

Once again Haynes have produced a quality workshop manual covering the F650 range in all its versions for the whole period of its production. As you would expect it covers the marque, service tasks and periods, fault finding, etc. plus sufficient information to enable a complete nut and bolt strip down of the whole bike if you're so inclined. If you like to save money doing your own repairs whenever possible this is the manual for you. On the downside the copy that arrived has a soft cover, which for a workshop manual I feel is a not a good thing. Haynes manuals use to have hard covers and as such were more robust, I have some from the 1970s which have been in the workshop many times and are still in good shape - maybe that's progress.
