Got this as a stocking filler for my husband so I've not played it yet. I know I bought it as used and the price was good. However I would have expected that the inside case and disc would have least have been cleaned.

After seeing this series, initially on Sky, I felt it carried on in the fantastic vein that the third series had set with the epic Xindi story arc. Starting off on Earth in the 40's and then taking on the Augments the fourth series ties up most the loose ends that the films and other series had created, such as why did the Klingons in Kirks day have no ridges on their heads. This box set is a fine ending to a fine series which albeit got off to a shaky start but, in my opinion, matured into as good a Star Trek series as you'll get. The individual stand alone storylines are the weakest of the series, and the final episode is arguably an insult to the franchise but these 3 eipsodes apart means that this dvd boxset is well worth buying as there are a lot more highs than lows. I'm glad I bought the 3rd series (which is better) and also more than glad that I bought this series, I'd be more than happy to recommend this to anyone who loves Trek and who may not have perservered with the show whilst on television. Top class.Read full review
television series, ENTERPRISE. Set in the 22nd century (100 years before the stewardship of Captain Kirk), the prequel series charts the intergalactic adventures of the first humans to explore the far reaches of outer space on the eponymous Starship Enterprise NX-01. Ship commander Captain Jonathan Archer (QUANTUM LEAP's Scott Bakula) leads his crew on a pioneering mission to chart new planets and alien civilizations at a time when the United Federation of Planets is in its infancy. John Billingsley, Jolene Blalock, Dominic Keating, Anthony Montgomery, Linda Park, and Connor Trinneer costar as Bukula's intrepid crew. Attempting to tie up loose threads and storylines from previous STAR TREK incarnations, the series is presented in its entirety with this collection of every episode
I never watched Enterprise on television instead I was lucky enough to have a friend who introduced me to the show which impressed me miles more than I expected. The writing and acting where all believable and well delivered while still remaining true to that Star Trek feel and the early time period makes it easier to relate given that they don't act in the same altruistic manner of the previous shows while showing some of man's social development to such mentality. This season was a real gem something that was about to go on to great things but sadly was cut down...still this season was excellent and actually has an ending (as opposed to many shows dying on a cliff hanger). Goodbye Enterprise you (and my girlfriend) made me a Star Trek fan.
