A very good Study Bible with focus on archeology and history. The Bible has many explanatory notes for a corect Biblical Study as well as extensive concordance, reference, good biblical Maps, a good preface to the New International Version Bible as well as a good Introduction to the history of the Holy Land. This Archeological Bible is a MUST.
For any serious Bible student, or for anyone with "who, what, when, where or why" questions about the Biblical record, this Bible is a must. I have several other study Bibles including Greek-Hebrew study Bibles, Chronological study Bibles, and a Bible printed in 1877, in indigo ink, that includes not only the complete Apocrypha but Lost Books of the Bible. However, none of these Bible paint as clear a picture of culture, development and the known history of the People who lived before and during the time of the writings of the Holy Scripture.
