I love collecting CD's and already have a lot of the tracks on this one. Artists like Eva Cassidy and James Blunt find their way onto a lot of compilations and fail to excite. The best tracks on this 2 CD set are the blasts from the past and the artists who you don't hear much from. Nice to hear Edwina Hayes breaking through, and the real stand out track is Jeff Buckley singing Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. Worth buying for those two alone.
I bought this cd as I like the various artists/tracks. I regularly have this on whilst cooking and eating dinner. It is really mellow and calming. Excellent background music when entertaining.
This CD was playing in a freinds car and I just had to buy it, loads of old favorites and a couple of less airplayed tracks that are just great. Not 'too acoustic' - one man and a guitar, most are the original recordings.
Love this album really chill out and soulful great for the car. Played it at a family gathering recently and lots asked about it and I know two have bought it. Worth getting.
