A nice radio and more.
I like these, This is not my first one and they do use battery's. The wired head phones cable works as the radio antenna. If the head phone cable gets pulled to hard too many times (cord gets hooked on something) it will weaken the head phone connector and one side of the headphones cuts out, but that is the only weakness I have found. But I listen to the radio every day at work every day and have no reception problems at all. It is also a MP3 player audio recorder (w/ built in microphone).
