Awesome composition and full-on neo classical guitar playing; this album I believe the best CoBM so far . An angry, heavy and totally unrelenting album which was well received at the time...by me. Nice production and recording too, also one of my favourite recorded drum sounds.

Finnish metallers Children of Bodom return with another inventive and talented album. Combining a more traditional heavy metal riff feel reminding me of such bands like Slayer and Chimaira, with the trademark scorching guitarplay and keyboard solos, I truthfully did not like this album as much as their others at first, however it quickly grew on me. I am not a particually big fan of the more mainstream metal bands, but Children of Bodom are one of the few very popular bands I think live up to their standing, definately worth a listen.
