I already owned his 1980 "Summer Camp" and appreciated it for its distinctness. This 1995 collection of images extends the territory of his earlier work into new areas such as handwritten poetry on limited areas of boy anatomy, while including themes (manikins, large outdoor settings) with which I was familiar. It is intellectually lively material that is both distinctive in its authorship and rather odd. I think Faucon adds much that is pleasant to world culture with his approach to boy photography.
