  • Intriguing and not for everyone

I was expecting the worst when I began watching this film but it kept me intrigued for the length of it's running time. Yes, we are looking at young girls playing, bathing and dancing, and yes, there is a brief nude scene, but I did not find it to be exploitative or gratuitous. The film provides no answers as to how the girls get to the school or what the whole place is all about so that may turn a lot of people off (as well a the footage of the girls in close up or semi-clad of course). The cinematography was gorgeous and the forest setting magical. Not for everyone but I am glad I stayed with it, even if I didn't really know what was going on.

  • For pervs.

Just be wary this film is a bit dodgy, should have a paedophilia warning.

  • French cinema at its best

Quite apart from the obvious attractions for lovers of youthful beauty, it's a well made film with an optimistic, engaging and thought provoking story, although upsetting in parts. In French with English subtitles. Thoroughly recommended.
