Great service from provider however, the product was disappointing - difficult to erect, also I assumed it would be powder coated - I should have read details more carefully

These are very cheap and cheerful shelves. Pressed on machines to the right size, almost! The metal parts are very sharp and some thick gloves are recommended and needed. A screwdriver and rubber hammer are a must when assembling this shelving. The parts fit together . . almost. Having said all that, they are cheap and when you've finished f'ing and blinding at the construction phase, they are very useful and serve their purpose very well, but keep a box of plasters handy. Pianists should not attemp to construct these shelves!!

These shelves are BRILLIANT!!! So easy to assemble and good looking, and STRONG! Really STRONG! Beautifully clever and good looking as well. I bought one set, was so impressed I bought another, and have just ordered a third set for my storage container and "garage" for my motorcycle. The delivery service these people use is nuts...usually arrives the next day! I can't recommend them highly enough...and the price...well, it really is amazing. You will love them.

Assembling it is quite difficult due to the poor engineering. You slot something into place and something else pops out. As other reviewers noted, the shelves bases are quite thin, but they should cope decently with weight, as there are extra supports half-way through the width. It's not tool-less as you are going to need a mallet, screwdrivers (flat tips) and also clamps can help. I had to widen many of the metal loops the shelves supports slot into, to assemble the unit. I used a screwdriver in order to do so. It can be assembled alone, but some help would be useful. The price would have been reasonable, if I hadn't previously bought some plastic units that can hold 500Kg instead of 175 (for a third of the price). The frame's metal edges are quite sharp and can cause cuts or damages to cables and other delicate stuff. I can't see why not use bolts and nuts, but make them more stable and much easier to assemble. Encasing the nuts, you could even assemble it with a spanner, pliers or similar (so only one tool would be required).Read full review

Purchased this for garage storage and was not disappointed. Good solid unit and it's holding numerous tins of paint, 2l canisters of oils and fluids without a problem. Is there a downside?? well for me, the only downside was putting it together!! Can be a bit fiddly trying to get the clips in the frame properly but on the upside if you have a swear box handy you'll have enough money in it to purchase another shelving unit should you need one 🤣 Would definately recommend this product. For the price you really can't be robbed and it was much better quality than I anticipated. Great product and great service. Thank you
