Basic HD Radio
This appears to be about the only reasonably-priced HD radio available. And, it also appears to be "Out of Stock" at the BB stores near me. So, EB or "The Jungle" are just about the only places to find it for sale on-line. And, this radio is worth seeking out both for its price and its performance.
Signal strength is very good even in our location on the outskirts of a large city. And basic operation of this unit is as simple as it gets: just extend the telescoping antenna, plug AC adapter into wall outlet, plug other end of AC adapter into radio, press the power-on button. Sound quality is really quite good through the small speaker, probably owing much to the excellence of HD technology, with no fading in and out as is the case with analog FM signals. A good HD signal will produce sound quality that rivals either XM or streaming over I'net. And, unlike XM or I'Net, receiving HD radio signals is FREE, once you've paid for the radio.
