Better than I thought they would be but I thought I'd take a punt and give them a try. I think them best suited for soft metals such as Al alloys and hard plastics such as ABS. Well worth the money for those jobs, if you want to use them on hardened and stainless steels, you'll be disappointed as they are not suitable; [Reamers for hardened and stainless steels will cost you 10x's the price]. All in all, value for money and a handy addition to most tool kits, as long as realistic expectations are not exceeded.

Solidly built, properly hardened and tempered so that the sharp edge lasts longer. The taper is even, no steps which shows its good quality, so many reasonably priced tools these days are "seconds" and in the engineering industry there is no place for seconds - they cost more money than a quality tool in the long run. Very pleased with both reamers. Highly recommended
