EGO Mower
I already own a Ego Snowblower, so I was familiar with the product line. I was impressed with the battery charge to mow my whole lawn without recharging. It’s very light to use, I have the self propelled model, but it’s very easy to push. It’s cuts very evenly and it’s very quiet compared to a gas mower. Gas mowers will pickup leaves or tree seedlings, this mower won’t and the price comparison to a gas mower, it’s a little on the high side. "Mechanical/technological machine"
If this mower makes me a "green" person then I am green. For too long, I have wanted to not have that gas fume smell after mowing!!!!! With this mower the only thing that I have after mowing is satisfaction!!! No more wearing earplugs to block out the noise of the mower!!! With the 21" cut and easy wheel adjustment, mowing is a pleasure. High grass---no problem!!! This mower has the power to do the job. Easily cuts(manicures) my lawn which takes about one(1) hour. Do not look any further for an electric mower! This is one ingenious machine. VERY well built and I will compare it to being ABOVE my 6.5HP Huskavana 21" gas mower. For one hour this thing will work you to death! Glad the battery ran out after an hour because so did I. 45 minute recharge ( about 3 beers worth) and we were both back at it. This thing is so impressive you'll wanna take it jogging with you. In fact you'll even wanna take it shopping with you. Even has BRIGHT headlights and can cut your grass even in the rain! Did I say I'm 65yrs old and for the first time in my life I can honestly say..... I LOVE THIS LAWNMOWER! Soooooo EASY to use and SOOO compact. Great Mower So Far!
I have only mowed my yard twice since recieving it. I have used gas mowers all my life growing up and then started using an electric, corded mower when I moved into a house. It is a small yard, but I finally got tired of plugging the cord in and having to deal with it while I mowed. I am sure glad I cut the cord! I ordered the mower with the larger 7.5Ah battery. I have mowed my yard twice and haven’t had to charge it yet (again, small yard). The self propel function is a nice upgrade as the mower is on the heavier side. However, it is not a must have. Great purchase!
One of the best purchaces I have made -- just hope that it continues that way. So far so good. Light weight, and easy to push. I bought the self-propelled machine, but even without it, I have no problems pushing it. Self-propelled is nice fpr the slopes I cut. The battery seemed to last the whole cutting time -- about an hour. Not sure how long the battery will hold up, but hoping for the best! Glad I went with the EGO system.
