    Awkward to use but works OK.

    This "pen microscope" does work OK, but it takes a bit of getting used to ... The worst thing about it is the fact that the image is reversed ... I still tend to move it the wrong way because of the image reversal ... If you can cope with this, then it is perfectly OK ... Unfortunately, it magnifies too much for the purpose I bought it for ... 24X is too much for examining the lugs and bracelet pins on watches and 10X would be better for my purposes ... The LED lighting is great and I will look for a similar item with a lower magnification ... I will still use it for other purposes so it won't be given away ... If you definitely need 24X or more magnification and can put up with the image reversal then it is a good product.

    Caron pen microscope

    Magnifies well, rather fiddly to use so I would reach for a Coddington hand lens first Worth buying if you occasionally need a magnifier of this power but don't want to use a bench microscope Bearing in mind cost and small size it is excellent value I am glad that I bought mine
