Very easy to fit, Mains wired Smoke detector (20 minutes). Only four wires can also be linked to at least ten others of the same make! Clicks into place and very neat. Kidde Fire Angle is a very good make and recommended by the Fire Services, says so on the box! So, it can't be all that bad. Very cheap to buy but look around for the same make bargain! Also, if there was a fire incident I am covered by my insurance, some companies refuse to pay-out if your wired smoke detector is not tested and working or you forgotten to put a battery in it, or simply don't have a working smoke detector of any kind in your home! So, buy one of these! Even comes with a 9v battery that lasts for up to 2 years if the power goes out or if you don't have a wired system yet! It might even save your family and your life. Easy change over from very antiquated mains linked smoke detectors to a pair of these. Very pleased with the replacement and an essential job done. The job should be done by a qualified electrician and mains power off before replacement work starts. Dispose of old detectors properly as they may contain a small radioactive source. Read instructions carefully and mind the dust! Also fitted long life Lithium PP3 batteries instead of regular alkaline PP3. This was just personal choice as the detector comes with a new GP supercell PP3 as well as the push fit ceiling bracket.
