The Best Ever
WOW!!!! These are perfect and the best I have ever used. I am 67 in April and I have bought many of these in my life but none have ever been this good. When I purchased them I looked at all the reviews here and on other sites. Although the odd bad review cropped up I cannot understand why. I needed these for soldering small resistors, diodes etc on circuit boards to finish off cutting the excess wire from them. These are perfect for the job and I have to been experimenting and cutting a lot of small pieces of wire and flex and there is nothing it cannot handle but don't try to cut steel rope with these as they were only made for small thin wire. I didn't realise these were sprung and self return handles, this was an added extra for me as I couldn't see the spring on the picture as it is on the other side of the cutters. Very well made by the Italians and I will buy again should these ever wear out but I cannot see them wearing out for many years. Maybe at my age it will be the last set of snippers I will ever buy. Best snips you can buy anywhere!
I must of bought at least 30 of these over the last 7 years for friends & work, best snips I have ever purchased! When I was a fresh new engineer I must of bought loads of different brands of side cutters / snips, only lasting couple of months at a time... Then I came across this brand when they were just out on the market for couple of quid, took the chance and to this day my 1st pair are still just about cutting! Well made tool
Still in the early stages of use (2 weeks) but they seem well made. I’ve been using them to cut tie wraps back, which this tool gets them nice and flush so you don’t get a sharp bit of excess left sticking out, and also 0.5 copper cable which they cut with ease. Ideal tool
These side cutters are reasonably priced and do the job really well. I bought 3 pairs. None are showing any sign of bluntness or damage as yet, they get moderate use on thick cables. Many electronic snips are expensive and easily damaged trying to cut hardened steel wire/cables. These light , cheap, robust pair of snips are reasonably robust with good angular cutting clearance , whilst still being cheap enough to throw away, when they inevitably fail, trying to cut just one too many wires! The Snips blades are small enough to get underneath soldered resistor pins and chip pins! Good quality side cutters
These are good quality side cutters that are worth spending the extra on. They are well made with high quality materials and should be a good addition to any tool box. I bought cheaper ones from China in the past and the metal broke on one of the cutting edges while I was cutting some nichrome to size. Good for the price.
Good quality cutters ideal for circuit board repair work. They have a nice feel in my hand and operate with a smooth response and cut clean and sharp. No need to pay a fortune for side cutters , I have seen side cutters made by other manufacturers for sale at £40 + . I think these Italian made ones are probably almost as good, or as good. Over hyped?
I'd read the reviews with a certain amount of cynicism, surely these things couldn't be as good as they'd been described, well I was wrong. From the moment you set eyes on them, pick them up and handle them, you know you've got something pretty special. Having become used to treating other wire cutters as consumable products and throwing them in the bin, I wasn't prepared for how well they perform, effortlessly dealing with the job at hand. Very good, better than I hoped for and great value.
I got these for wire cutting, and I have to say, I was impressed. While not really cheap, they were still a budget price, so I didn't want to get my hopes up, but I think I picked a winner. The grips are nice and comfy, they are lubricated, so very quick and smooth, and the best thing is they are sharp from the tip to the base of the cutting edges.
