It's acceptable for my use
It's not perfect and I've seen complaints from others but it works ok for my purposes in my situation. It is susceptible to interference and you aren't going to get HD quality out of it, but since it's got a Composite out, that should be expected. I also bought a second receiver and the TV I wanted to hook it up to didn't have a Composite input, but a Composite to HDMI converter I have worked just fine for the task. I've had to reposition the antenna a few times, but I'll take that over renting 2 additional cable boxes any day of the week since I live alone and just wanted to be be able to watch cable in other rooms.
location for the transmitter and receivers is key to getting a good signal. It may be necessary to position far enough away from other electronics to get a good signal so longer cables might be needed. I'd say it's worth a try if it looks like it will meet your needs.
