Top quality
These are a solidly made, comfortable and good looking headphones. I listen to a wide variety of music including classical, jazz and contemporary electronics. They are good for all types. They have an easy going nature. Not detail monsters, they project a balanced reproduction across frequencies. Too bulky for "on the go" listening but great if you are sitting down having a prolonged coffee break. Mine came with a balanced cable we which I recommend.

Wonderful pair of headphones
Fantastic sound - I have had a pair of Sennheisers for many years. These Focals were a special treat for myself and I only wish I had not waited so long. Excellent stereo space. Only issue is the length of the cable - it's too short

First class headphones
Very good sound quality, and comfortable to wear over long periods. Expensive, but materials and construction is top notch. Closed back design provides excellent insulation of sound so doesn't disturb others even if sat right next to you. The only demerit is the shortness of the connection lead, but lead extensions are readily available.

One of the best closed back headphones available
As soon as I removed it from its case I could see that the build quality is superb. Very comfortable to wear and I was completely bowled over by the sound quality. Don’t be put off by some reviewers, who didn’t like it and thought it to be a bit uneven in the mid range. I prefer it to the Sennheiser HD650 ( open backs) If possible try before you buy because they won’t suit everyone.
