For the money a good high-powered digital microscope.
For such a low price, this is a a good high-powered digital microscope. But understandably for the price you get plastic construction with a screw thread up/down focusing rack; all a bit wobbly when on or near maximum magnification but if treated carefully and steadied with your hand then it's robust enough to hold a steady picture. For the money the digital magnified image is good, although obviously not up to that of highly expensive optical stereoscopes or similar priced digital microscopes by still good enough to see very small objects quite clearly. This would be excellent child's educational digital microscope. One very good feature is that it comes with it's own disc to download the program onto a laptop rather than many similar digital microscopes in this low price bracket which require downloading a program off the internet.

Good value for the money
This works much better than expected. I use this for visual check of PCBs in musical instruments, in-car-electronics and more. You get very good images with this when hooked up to a handheld computer,mobile phone, dekstop or tablet/pad. Software/drivers that comes with the Microscope makes it possible to view image on screen and to take snapshot of examined object.
